Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins


The Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins is a state-listed heritage site; it’s just outside the town of Adelong and a must-see destination. The remarkable stone ruins of the ingenious Reefer ore crushing machine, built by Scotsmen David Wilson and William Ritchie. This mill processed ore from Adelong and the wider district miners and ceased operation in 1914.
